Labferrer works with partnerships around the world, sharing knowledge and experience and implementing monitoring systems and information procedures on-site. It also has continuous innovation projects and participates as a SME in EU and National projects.
Recently (Dec. 7th 2011), LabFerrer has been included in the EU Directorate General Environment CEI/AMI 2009-2012 Call For Expressions of Interest database 2009-2012. The subfields include:

The company
The company (Centre Assessoria Dr Ferrer SL) started in 1999 and it is owned by Francesc Ferrer-Alegre (Ag. Engineer PhD) and Astrid van Ginkel (Biologist and pharmacist MSc). The company has two differentiated business areas, LabFerrer and Fitomon, managed by Francesc and Astrid, respectively.
FITOMON provides consulting services in medicinal plants and botanical ingredients for the industry. More information in www.fitomon.com
Both lines, LabFerrer and FITOMON are located in Cervera (Lleida), near Barcelona (Catalonia – SPAIN) , the annual gross sales are 750.000€ (10% growth 2011-2010), 7 fix employees and a R&D investment of around 5%.
